East Mountain High School (EMHS) utilizes an innovative, interactive, research-based support structures in a freestanding school to accelerate the timeline for high school students to complete college. All students participate in dual credit classes and are working towards an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associate of Applied Science in Integrated Studies pathways, or Certificate of Completion in General Studies. EMHS is located in Sandia Park, about 30-minutes from the nearest Central New Mexico Community College campus. Student services include, but are not limited to: tutoring, Homework Club, on-site academic and career counseling, library services, technology support, computer labs/laptops for student use, and communication with the college instructor as needed. Approximately 85% of EMHS students enter a four-year college upon graduating from high school.
