Clovis Municipal School District

Clovis Early College High School (CECHS) is an academy model that is part of Clovis High School (CHS) within the Clovis Municipal School District (CMS) and is located at Clovis Community College (CCC). The school district and community college have a long-standing partnership, and this program was developed in order to enhance this partnership and meet the changing needs of the CHS students and the overall community. Clovis Early College High School was developed to address these challenges that today’s students face and is committed to educating students to be prepared to be our future. CECHS does this by providing unique educational opportunities for each student with the common goal of giving students the ability to earn a high school diploma and an associate’s degree and/or industry credential simultaneously. Again recognizing that all students have different educational and/or career goals, two distinct emphases are offered through CECHS: Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and General Transfer pathways. Either option allows students the opportunity to accelerate through their educational/career goals with a degree or credential that is tied directly to industry needs.
