Alamogordo High School Early College Health and Academic Academy is an academy model providing dual learning, leading to an associates’ degree and/or high wage/high demand credential. This model was borne out of a long-standing partnership between Alamogordo Public Schools and New Mexico State University—Alamogordo.
Formed to offer students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma simultaneously with college-level credentials and/or associates’ degree, this partnership focuses on the fi eld of health sciences and core academics and enables students to graduate high school ready for the workforce or future education.
