A recent report by American Student Assistance highlighted the importance of Work-Based Learning in high school to support students’ futures in career readiness and success. Expanding Work-Based Learning supports Career Readiness, which is a priority in the NM Public Education Department’s Strategic Plan for Success.
This report provides some best practices, as well as outcomes for well-constructed work-based learning opportunities for students.
